Situated in the heart of Darjeeling, just a few steps away from the famous Chowrastha, our restaurant offers a unique dining experience...
... Following extensive refurbishment the restaurant is now the place to enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner. We have two excellent chefs serving a sumptuous menu of Indian, Chinese and Tibetan food, all prepared freshly each day from the finest locally sourced ingredients.
In addition to well known favourites such as Tandoori dishes and Indian vegetarian dishes we also serve delicious specialties such as Chicken Bartha (Shredded boneless chicken cooked in gravy and garnished with egg) and Khadi Paneer
(Home-made cheese cooked with onion, tomato, capsicum, and pickle oil in a spicy gravy).
From the Chinese kitchen there are spicy delights such as Kway Teow (Malaysian flat noodles tossed with vegetables) or the usual favourites such as Prawn Chow mien (Pan-fried noodles garnished with vegetables, in Cantonese sauce) and Stir Fried Green Vegetables (diced pan-fried green vegetables, broccoli & capsicum).
Alternatively why not try some authentic Tibetan fare such as Momos – steamed parcels of minced pork or cheese and cabbage, served the traditional way with a spicy chilli dipping sauce and a bowl of soup.
The restaurant has a contemporary modern look combined with traditional touches such us hand painted Tibetan Thankas. There is a separate bar area where we serve a great range of Indian and imported beers, wines and spirits. Guests can also catch up on world news or watch sporting events on our LCD TVs.
We are eager to share our passion for good food and service with you, and welcome you as our guests. We are proud of the time and effort that goes into preparing each of our dishes and look forward to serving you.
